Our Name
Flypaper; sticky stuff that keeps you held down in one place. It's hard to wiggle out of, but not impossible. A few years back we had the epiphany that, like many people who have given themselves to demanding life tasks (for us it was raising children and jobs outside the home) we had become mired down. The art of daydreaming and the creativity we craved had been traded for dirty laundry, taxi service for kids etc., etc., etc., covered in a nice blanket of fatigue.

Together we decided to search for the currents that would help us spread our wings, lift our feet off the flypaper... and fly. To dream it, to do it and just take flight! Thus the name of our company; a constant reminder that the winds of change do blow, you’'ve just got to spread your wings and take off.

Sheryl Crow was diagnosed with breast cancer in February of 2006. After undergoing treatment, she is cancer free, but not free of her desire to help in the cure of cancer through raising awareness and research funds. We designed our merchandise in the "As the Crow Flies" series not only as fun items to own, but also to help raise money for cancer research, as a percentage of each sale will go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. It is Sheryl's and our hope that, whether through this merchandise or other avenues, you will support breast cancer research.
